2008 Chinook Carbon Boom, (1-1/8''
diameter)
Chinook’s Triple Clamp Boom Head and unique molding
processes are criteria that make our 2006 booms stiffer, stronger,
and more user-friendly than any other carbon boom. Other features
include external locking pin collars to eliminate twist, a
unique clew block for fixed or in-flight adjustable outhauls,
and an extra generous extension range.

feature a 24”/61cm continuous blue anodized aluminum
tail-piece, fully-articulating "Triple Clamp" boom

2008 Hawaiian Proline Carbon Booms
Tapered 1.125" (29mm) "skinny grip" maximizes
stiffness and ergonomics.
Hybrid Carbon Technology (HCT) optimizes the carbon used based
on the application, i.e. heavier/stronger material is used only
in stiffness-critical areas; the lightest weight material is
used everywhere else.
New Pro-level Poly-carbonate head is standard. It's light, rigid,
and dependable.
A new, integrated RDM adaptor is included.
Loop-and-go outhaul system; quick and easy rigging. Incremental
adjustment markings on the extension.
Posi-Lock twin pin adjustment clips. They're easy to use yet
never let go unexpectedly. The "guide notch" makes
it easy line up the pins to the holes.

superior comfort and control. One-piece high strength double
heat treated T8 body for superior strength at optimum weight.
New boom head that comes with a state-of-the art RDM adaptor/shim.
Posi-Lock single pin adjustment clips; easy to use yet never
let go unexpectedly. Incremental length adjustments are marked
on the tail piece. Tailend uses a loop-and-go quick and easy
outhaul system.
Optional carbon tail piece adds extra stiffness and minimizes
swing weight for optimum performance.
